Bank of America has rolled out a new pilot program in which it will offer delinquent homeowners the option to hand over their deeds in exchange for being able to lease back their homes. It is a plan which is intended to make it easier for the bank to unload these foreclosure properties as rental properties to bulk REO buyers. Is this new type of distressed asset a good buy for real estate investors?
